That’s why the ISSP team is thrilled to share free resources from one of the most respected voices in the sustainability field: Bob Willard. Here, you’ll find a selection of key tools from his Sustainability Advantage website.

How to use these resources in your work:

• Basic Sustainability Assessment Tool (BSAT) - BSAT is a comprehensive, generic sustainability self-assessment tool. It can be used by any-size organization, in any sector, in any country. It may be especially helpful for small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and large organizations with minimal / no sustainability staff. It uses less than 20 multiple-choice questions to score the organization’s sustainability performance.  It also suggests over two dozen actions that improve its performance on GHG emissions reduction, the urgent issue that most stakeholders prioritize. 

• Comparison of Net-Zero Ambition Disclosure Frameworks - This free, open-source spreadsheet / table compares how the above mainstream net-zero assessment  frameworks used by large companies assesses organizational commitment to net-zero GHG targets. NZAAT is designed to cover the same questions in an SME-friendly way.

• Sustainable Procurement Toolkit - The free, open-source toolkit contains templates and tools that enable the rapid and smooth integration of core sustainable procurement elements into any current procurement system. This flyer provides an overview of the tools in the toolkit.
