You don't need “sustainability” in your job title to practice sustainability. Opportunities to create change exist in our workplaces, professions, homes, organizations, and communities. In this interactive workshop, you'll explore how to recognize a sustainability opportunity, understand where you have influence, involve others, and identify a meaningful next step. We'll also discuss pathways into sustainability careers, ways to integrate sustainability into the work you already do, and opportunities to keep learning, connecting, and building your practice.

You'll leave with an opportunity you've identified for applying sustainability and a practical next step for moving it forward.

Meet your Panelist

Konrad Schlarbaum is a sustainability professional with more than a decade of experience helping organizations turn sustainability goals into practical action. He currently serves as a Green Business Specialist with the Colorado Green Business Network, where he works with businesses and organizations to identify opportunities to reduce environmental impacts, improve operations, and advance sustainability initiatives. Konrad holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in sustainability and is an ISSP Sustainability Excellence Professional, LEED Green Associate, and certified in permaculture design. He is passionate about making sustainability approachable, practical, and empowering for people at all stages of their sustainability journey.
