About the event

COP29 has been deemed the "finance COP" and many see it as an opportunity to align climate finance contributions with estimated global needs. One of the main focuses of COP29 will be the contested areas of the New Collective Quantified Goal (NCQG). Another issue high on the agenda is the continued operationalization of the Fund for Responding to Loss and Damage.

During this webinar, you will hear from representatives of ICLEI, Rocky Mountain Institute (RMI), Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDN), Denominator, and National Wildlife Federation (NWF). The panelists will discuss their biggest takeaways from their attendance at COP29 with a focus on finance and how it affects the success of the other Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
