About the event
This workshop aims to equip sustainability professionals and organizational leaders with effective communication strategies that ensure their messaging reflects and engages the diverse communities impacted by the climate crisis, with a special focus on including Indigenous voices and other underrepresented groups. It is essential to incorporate diverse perspectives throughout all stages of sustainable work, so this presentation is relevant to all team roles, not just the communications team.

Meet your presenter
Bobbie Green, a proud two-time Loyola alumna from New Orleans, serves as the
New Orleans HUB Lead for Black Girl Environmentalist. As a newcomer to the
climate organizing space, she is dedicated to addressing the pipeline and
retention issues of Black women, girls, and gender-expansive individuals in the
climate sector. Bobbie is committed to meeting everyone wherever they are in
their climate journey, creating a space of inclusivity and opportunity for anyone
interested in joining the climate movement.
